Dum Aloo Recipe Ingredients
2-3 potatoes - halved
2 tsp ghee
1/4 tsp heeng
1 tsp saunt paste
1 1/2 tsp saunf powder
2-3 whole red chillies
1 small bowl curd
1/2 bowl water
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp jeera powder
1/2 tsp dhania powder
1/4 tsp haldi powder
salt - to taste
Dum Aloo Recipe Procedure
Boil the potatoes and pierce them with a fork.
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan, lightly brown the potatoes and keep aside.
Heat 1 tsp of ghee in another pan and add heeng and saunt paste and stir.
Add the saunf powder, whole red chillies and curd, stir well. Now add all the powdered masalas, salt and stir again.
Put in the potatoes, add water and mix well.
Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
