Prawn Balchaon Recipe Ingredients

1 tbsp garlic paste
10 pieces red kashmiri chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cloves
1 tbsp ginger paste
4 pieces cinnamon
1 tsp black pepper corns
1 tbsp Goan palm Feni or white rum
1 tbsp vinegar
3 tbsp dried prawn powder
2 tbsp oil
3 onions
1/2 kilo medium sized prawns
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
Prawn Balchaon Recipe Procedure
Grind garlic, red chillies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, cloves, ginger, and cinnamon, black pepper corns, to a paste. Add Feni (or white rum), vinegar, and prawns powder to the paste.
Saut?hopped onions in oil till brown.
Add prawns to the brown onions and saut?ill the prawns change color.
Add sugar and salt and stir till sugar dissolves completely.
Add prepared paste and stir briskly.
Cook for a minute.
Serve with rice rotis or bread.
