Kid Gosht Recipe Ingredients
1 kg lamb (young) - cut into pieces 2 tsp jeera 1 tbsp garlic - chopped 1 tbsp ginger - chopped 3 cups onions - chopped 1 cup oil salt 3 cups water 6 dry red chillies 200 gm cashew nuts 2 cups coconut milk
Kid Gosht Recipe Procedure
Pierce the meat and marinate in the ground mixture for 3-4 hours.
Grind the cashews to a paste and keep aside.
Heat the oil, and add onions to it. Saute till soft. Increase the heat and add the meat. Cook over high heat and stir fry till opaque to look at.
Lower the heat and let the meat cook, till fat separates.
Add the water, chillies and salt, bring to a boil and cook covered till meat is tender.
Add the cashew paste and coconut milk, simmer for 5-6 minutes and serve hot.
Note: You can add fried potato wedges to it.
