Green Tomato Chutney Recipe Ingredients
Green tomatoes 5-6
Green chilli 7-8 (according to taste)
Roasted groundnuts ½ cup
Ginger (optional) - a small piece
Salt to taste
Oil 2 spoons
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Green Tomato Chutney Recipe Procedure
Cut the green tomatoes into the 4 pieces for each.
Heat oil in a pan add green chillies fry till it becomes brown.
Now add tomato slices fry till it turns soft.
Let it cool them. Then first grind the green chillies and roasted groundnuts.
After add tamarind, tomato slices, ginger and salt to taste. Make a fine form of paste. (dont make very smooth paste)
Heat oil in a pan add mustard and cumin seeds.
Now mix the above fried ingredients to the paste and mix well.
Green tomato chutney recipe is ready and serve with hot rice or chapati is good.
