Prickly Heat Remedies:

prickly heat is nothing but the small itchy rashes or boils caused by sweat entrapped under the skin.

Some home remedies which are effective for prickly heat are
  1. Washing the affected parts with discarded water during washing Rice, gives relief from prickly heat.
  2. Brinjal (Byangan) pieces dipped in water for some hours. This water used to wash the affected area gives relief from prickly heat.
  3. Taking bath only with cold water also helps to get relief from pricklu heat.
  4. Applying Henna paste (Mehandi) gives a quick relief from prickly heat.
  5. Massaging the body with gingery (Til) oil, Also helps to get relief from prickly heat problem.
  6. Fenu greek seeds (Menthi) dipped in water and later grinded with coconut to form a paste. Applying this paste on the whole body and head half an hour before taking bath, gives relief from prickly heat.
  7. Applying Harad (Haritaki) posder mixed in water on the body before taking bath, helps to get relief from prickly heat.
  8. In stead of using soap go for Soap nut (Shikakai) or Gram flour (Besan) which helps in controlling prickly heat.
  9. Applying Goose berry (Amla) paste on the affected parts, gives relief from prickly heat.
  10. Applying Bitter gourd (Karela ) Juice Mixed with small quantity of eating soda on the affected parts, gives relief from prickly heat.
