Lice's are highly contagious and it is extremely important that they should be eliminated as quickly and completely as possible as they will start weakening the roots of hairs and causes itching, hair fall etc. Some home remedies have given which can be applied to solve hair lice problem.
- Guava (Amrud) leaves grinded and mixed with Turmeric applied on the scalp 2 hrs before taking bath helps in getting rid of head lice.
- Neem leaves grinded and applied on the scalp 2 hours before taking bath helps in getting rid of head lice.
- Half spoon of Black pepper (Kali mirch) powder and one cup Curd mixed with two spoons of Lemon Juice applied on the scalp 20 minutes before taking bath destroys head lice completely but remember toclose eyes while taking bath as Black pepper can cause irritation to the eyes.
- Rubbing a lemon piece on the scalp or applying Lemon juice with Coconut oil before taking bath helps to destroy head lice completely.
- Beet root leaves boiled and squeezed and this sueezed water applied on the scalp before taking bath destroys head lice.
- Rubbing boiled White goose foot (Bathua leaves) on the scalp 20 minutes before taking bath destroys head lice.
- Garlic kills lices as it is pungent. Garlic paste mixed with Lemon juice applied on the scalp before taking bath destroys head lice.
- Basil (Tulsi) leaves grinded with neem leaves applied on the scalp before taking bath destroys head lice.
- Putting Neem leaves and Basil leaves under the pillow helps to overcome hair lice problem.
- You can make your own hair oil like this.: Boil Neem leaves, Basil leaves, Gooseberry (Amla), Cloves (Laung), In Coconut oil and this can be used regularly to avoid all hair related problems.
